How much do you know about bamboo?
Suitable growth environment and conditions for bamboo
Chinese bamboo is mainly distributed in the mountainous areas of Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, Guangdong, and Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan and other provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in the western region, among which Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, The 4 provinces in Hunan accounted for 60.7% of the total bamboo forest area in the country.
What environment does bamboo grow in
The growth environment of bamboo: Most bamboos like a warm and humid climate. Generally, the annual average temperature is 12C to 22C, and the annual precipitation is 1,000 mm to 2,000 mm. Bamboo's requirements for moisture are higher than the requirements for temperature and soil. It must have sufficient moisture and good drainage.
The adaptability of scattered bamboos is stronger than that of clustered bamboos. Since scattered bamboos basically produce shoots in spring, Hsinchu has been fully lignified before winter, so it has a strong adaptability to adverse weather conditions such as drought and cold, and its soil requirements are lower than that of clumping bamboos and mixed bamboos.
The underground stems of clumping and mixed bamboos enter the soil shallowly. The shoots emerge in summer and autumn. Hsinchu can not fully lignify and cannot withstand cold and drought. Therefore, the growth of the north is generally restricted, and their requirements on the soil are also higher than those of scattered bamboos.
